Dear All, a big thank you to all those who sponsored us. Below is a brief report on the event.
The weather for most of Saturday and early Sunday morning was less than ideal with torrential showers and 25mph winds which made the riding all the more challenging.
The team performed extremely well raising nearly £2,000, placing 10th overall out of 55 teams, were the 1st mixed team, and won the veterans category receiving a large silver trophy.
During the 24 hour period we completed 203 laps of the circuit and covered 487 miles.
If you did not have time to sponsor us in advance of the event, it’s not too late, and it would be great to tip the total sponsorship raised over the £2,000 mark.
